okay i have seen over 15 people post they are not taking part because they wont make it into the top 50. so they just hit them a few times to get the participating item.
i think to get the participating item you should have to hit like 1k points.
that should be easy over the time of 12 days.
because at this rate the only people taking part in it will be the top 50-55.
and taking down the lady will be a pain or impossible in the time frame.
then you could make a sticker or do something for hitting a 5k point value.
but anyways keep the top 50 thing but please find a way to motivate the people not in the top 50.
hell i would be fine with scraping the top 50 for a vary high point value thing.

I agree, a lot of people seem to be very turned off by the event because of how it works. If you could some how find a way to make it fair for all participants then I feel more users would want to participate.

I know likely it's late too change what's been set in motion with the battle option. I do like the idea, and hope it will get another chance in the future. With that being said, I have agree that we will and are losing participants who are discouraged, fast. I hope next time we have another event like this, we have some kind of incentive for those in between the gap of of an ultimate prize, and a regular participation prize so more will be willing to help out with the end result (like defeating a villain at the end) even if they won't be getting the top item available from it.
I'd love to see a cumulative tier form for prizes.
For example
Ranks:
400 ~ 301 get package A
300 ~ 201 get package A + B
200 ~ 101 get package A + B + 4k
100 ~ 51 get package A + B + 4k + C
50 ~ 1 get all of the above + final prize

I definitely agree with the points made in this thread, and I particularly like getting over 1000 points for the participation item, because lets be frank, that is not THAT hard.

Hmm... I seriously tried my best yesterday. I really stayed up late but I live in a completely different time zone, and the people in the USA are still going to battle while I'm laying in my little comfortable bed. I just woke up half an hour ago, yesterday I was placed 14 and now I'm placed 49. I really cannot take this for 13 days, it's going to be too much for me. But you know, I'm a very curious person so I really want to know what item I should get if I was placed in the top 50.
I just don't think it motivates me anymore, seeing that the number 1 has about 3500 points and I have like 800 points. ain't gonna work for me anymore.

Why aim to be one?
Look at number 50, which is 830, and just aim to stay above it, not crawl to number one...
Afterall, number one isn't any better off than number 50, are they?
I honestly think everyone will get the special item. I think the special reward will be in terms of currency, thinking back to previous events. They should hit a few times, they will see.
