I still think it's silly and unneeded to do such, I see no reason why everyone else should be restricted from getting the prize even if they only click a couple times.
I just don't see why not leave it the way it is, how does it hurt anyone to give people the special prize even if they only attack a couple of times?

Hate is easy; Love takes courage.

It is the unknown we fear when we look upon death and darkness, nothing more.
I don't think people are expressing their views here in a rude manner. Everyone's being as polite as they can about something that they don't like. I really wouldn't want this to turn into bashing the 'ungrateful' people and making them feel guilty for not liking an event.

However. We don't know if the special reward will even be a new item yet. It could be a past item or even some extra gold or snowflakes.

Personally i don't like the top 50 simply because it brings out the competitive side in me and i can't stand missing a battle every 10 mins. I can't do anything else except keep waiting every 10 mins for it...it's addictive and i spend a good chunk of time on it D: i want whatever that top 50 prize is lol. i'm pretty sure i'm gunna be one of those that burn out.

i like the idea floating around of x amount of points gets you x prize. That way i can do that in a time of my choosing. i work full time and it's not an easy thing to do on my breaks...because i'm on time limits at work like you wouldn't believe :/

i don't really post a lot in the forums. so i cant get the currency, which means i cant get potions. i tried attacking once, got frozen and don't have any potions to unfreeze myself. i don't think it is a very lurker friendly event.

EDIT - just realized you can buy the potions with gold. its not so bad now :]

I just plain old don't get it. Is the ball thing still going on, because I couldn't figure that out either. Like you had to post and get hundreds of snowflakes to make an outfit AND pay gold? I just didn't have a couple weeks to invest doing that let alone whatever is going on now.

      ♥♫

The announcements from the past week explain it. The second part of the ball was taken over by zombie people and their queen, so now we have to defeat the queen to save Ernya from forever turning to ice. :3

Yeah I read it but it sounds complicated and i still don't know what to do. It took me a while to get a hang of the halloween event too, it's not a bad thing that Ernya's events are complex it just takes more time to figure them out and I'm not very good at doing things like that.

Also I know during part one of the event I had racked up many snowflakes but now that part 2 has started suddenly they all disappeared so it's like I gained those for nothing and I think even the event shop items changed and now I have no way of getting those things it seems.

Regarding items: It was stated near the start of the first part that the currency wouldn't be able to be used in the second part, so unfortunately you won't be able to get the items, as these sets use Aqua/Red snowflakes, not Ice. :3

As for this part, you had to have the invitation to gain entry to the "ball", which was overtaken, then a bar appears at the top, and for 5 minutes, 4 times per hour, you can attack the queen (using either the cane from part one, the drumsticks from part two or both. Cane 2 damage, sticks 1, both=3 damage)

Then the rank list is linked to at the top, also, there is an item and a "special reward" to earn. Reward top 50, item all who participate fully.

If you don't have an invitation, a few people in the exchange are selling for 2,500g (Which is what they cost + 5 gold snowflakes at the start)

If you don't have the cane, you may be able to borrow one from a friend or buy one in the exchange? Otherwise, collect Red Snowflakes and purchase the drumsticks for 20 of them, and use those to fight. You would be better off with the cane, though.

Hope all this babble helps. ^^

romance ~ The top 50 on the Rank list will be given an extra "reward", that's what most people seem to think is unfair.

To everybody else ~ I am really disappointed with how you are all acting in this thread. Pretty much, what I'm reading is that everybody should get the participation prize, even if they only click to attack once and have TWO points. Well, that's not participating, sorry. I'm running an average of 50+ points per battle, so over the course of OVER ONE WEEK, if everybody can't get to 500-1000 points, I don't think they deserve the prize. That's 10-20 battles, if that!

Regarding the top 50 prize, seriously guys, take a look at what you're saying - A lot of people are upset by what's being said, putting people down because they have the dedication to get up into the top 50, and pretty much saying they DON'T DESERVE to be rewarded for the back breaking effort that is going in.

I'm sorry, but if you're not willing to lose sleep, social time and all that wonderful stuff in real life to dedicate yourselves like some people are doing, then don't - But don't slam them for doing so. I think every single person in the top 50 deserves to be rewarded for the effort that's going in, and those of you who don't agree are simply being selfish.

I don't care if anybody replies to this post, just think about it and think about what you're saying about other members of this COMMUNITY, because seriously half of it stinks.

No one is being rude that I can tell. We're expressing our dislike of an event which is our right. :| As far as not being willing to work for things, that's incredibly rude of you to say. Assuming that the only reason people wouldn't make it into the top 50 is because they want to be social or sleep? Making assumptions like that is incredibly offensive to those of us who NEED TO DO THINGS TO SURVIVE IN THE REAL WORLD. No one is insulting the people who are getting the top 50, we just don't believe an event that excludes the majority of the userbase is necessarily the best option.

If it's selfish to want to be treated fairly then so be it. The event has already been changed to be more fair, so maybe we're not so off base after all.

I'm not a criminal, not a role model, not a born leader I'm a tough act to follow.

Drew and I have been together for over a year now~
The reason I wont be a part of the event:

In order to just get a full event set I have to attack 1501 times (I did not buy any of the event items from the first part of the event, since I had no idea they would be used for the other part of the event). I can attack 1 time every 10 seconds, so that means I have to spend 15010 seconds during the attack periode. Every attack periode is 5 minutes with a 10 minutes cool down periode. That means I have to spend three times as much time if you include the waiting. So that's 45030 seconds, or 750,5 minutes, to get a full event set. Since there's 11 days left of the event, I have to spend 68 minutes every day for the rest of the event to just get one of each item. Usually I don't mind that events are hard and I think it's good to reward people who are super active during events. I think events where you post for the currency are the best, because only you control how much effort you put into the event, and when you put in that effort. Sure, you can say it's my own fault for not getting the staff and thereby cutting the time I have to spend attacking to only 22 minutes per day. Though, I had no idea that the staff would be such an important part of the next part of the event and I don't recall there being any implication that it could be?
To sum up: I don't like it when the time I can spend on the event is controlled by a timer and I don't like it when I have to spend more than an hour every day in order to obtain a full event set.
I think it's a shame that the coders worked on such a cool feature for an event, but due to the nature of the rewarding, many people are unhappy

Yikes! I wasn't going to bother from the start but I was having second thoughts and considered just getting to the 1,500 attacks but after what Ebbe said there's no way I'm stressing over that.
I like the overall idea of the event but it's such a shame that things have worked out this way. It's been a huge flop, imo. I feel like we should be grateful because Emy changed it to be more fair but I still don't like it. >.<

this has actually been my favorite event so far >3< i wish more people can like it and try to see the fun in it instead of worrying about the item so much.
