1. Pele's Top; Named after the Hawaiian goddess of volcanoes. The image is pretty self explanatory I think... The red portions are the bits that change colour.
2. Krakatoa Mini-Dress; Super mini dress made after the Krakatoa volcano near Java.

Entry #2: Bottle Palm Dress
Description: This dress was inspired by one of my favorite species of palm tree, the Bottle Palm Tree. This tree lives mostly in tropical climates and is a popular tree for those who like to grow tropical gardens. The base of the dress can be either ragdoll or burleywood while the middle of the dress can be green or emerald (in the image, I tried using emerald). Finally, the palms would be a bottle colour and the highlights can change colour (lemon, aqua, whatever). In this image, silver is shown. And yes, the avatar's feet do disappear if you equip this dress. It's meant to be skinny at the bottom, like Morticia's dress from The Addams Family.

Here are my entries.
Okay so a little explanation for my entries is that I see too many entries what are focussed on Hawaii the Bahamas type of thing. I, being from Africa, wanted to show that tropical stuff does not just come from islands in the Pacific, but from Africa too. So I drew up my items with Africa in mind.
1. Bulky Bead Stack: My failed attempt to draw a type of beaded neckpiece that I've seen in books about African tribes in traditional dress. They always contain a variety of colours in each neckpiece. It is supposed to look beaded in most parts.
2. Royal Loincloth: I thought a loincloth would be a nice addition to our wardrobes, colours are white (base) black (small triangles) and two colours that can change somewhat like the "Kids with Guns" item changes.
Here it is pixelled in ocean and cyan:
3. Tokoloshe Dreads: I thought some ethnic dreadlocks would be nice to see here, and I drew the circlet in to make it more interesting. It would be nice if we could get an option to have the circlet in both gold and silver, but if not, I want it to be silver NOT gold. An option with the circlet alone, or the hair without the circlet would be nice too.
Edit: Thought of a better name, Tokoloshe is like a toublemaker sort of like the 'Boogyman' in Zulu culture.
Here is it pixelled in brown, with a silver circlet, and black and silver beads:

Hair by itself
and the hair with the beads.
It would be awesome if we could have all these options. ^_^

Tropical and musical are two things that go together.
I've given the side a tropical print with a sunrise and palm-tree but I have no problem if it becomes a single (changeable) color. The inside of the drum is silver/grey.
