I noticed this in IE7 AND Chrome. Sometimes, with time left on the clock, and while I am unfrozen, the attack button will appear and when I press it, it tells me 'You cannot attack now.'
Not sure what's up with that. When I refresh the page, the attack button will reappear and I can usually press it and get a normal hit or miss.

Sometimes there is a bit of a delay with the attacks, and around 11 seconds between each attack is likely going to be safer for attacking.

Yes, there's about a 10 second cooldown for attacks, so although the attack button does appear upon refresh, it won't let you attack until after the cooldown is over. :)

It happens with Firefox as well but yeah, just give it a second after it appears to be safe, it never fails for me that way o:

That actually has happened with me. But I've noticed that, as others have said, if you give it one extra second, (11 seconds instead of 10) it should work just fine. If, however, you're giving it more time than that and it's still not working, I'm not sure what you could do.
