First off, we would both like to say... HAPPY BIRTHDAY ERNYA!

In here is yet another thread dedicated to celebrating the one year anniversary... with FREE ART!
❥ How it works and what you need to know:
1. At every 25 pages, you will be eligible to win art from us both.
2. You must have posted at least 10 times before hitting the page 25, 50 mark.
3. We BOTH pick the avatars we want to draw. It will not be based on your personality, status, etc.
4. Once you reach page 25, 50, etc, please try to limit posting so as many people can post and have a chance as well. Of course you are excused if the thread has not much people or is generally inactive. However, you will not be eligible if you have over 5 posts in that page.
5. Either one or two person can win in each page-price, so if we both like your avatar, we will both draw it. Or if our opinions differ, we can draw two different avatars.
We are both not limited to the page prices, we may just surprise you. ;)
Asides from this, please, all basic rules follow; Ernya ToS, common sense, no art theft and no drama!
To add to this, please do not; ask to be drawn, beg to be drawn, complain about your drawing, leave after you receive your art. It is not quite a rule, but these things are generally frowned upon on. :(

HEY GUYS! Event is OVER, but we have no idea when the event will truly end. We didn't really stick with the page prices because not much people came- and we weren't as active as we both would have wanted to be. So we drew almost everyone who stopped by!
I'd like to thank you all for coming to our first Ernya Event Thread, know that this is totally not the end.
So, thank you all for coming and I hope you had fun here!
Ps: If we did not post the art here, YOU WILL BE PM'd. If we SAID we drew you, then we will PM it to you. Please be patient and bare our laziness. It is drawn, just, let us scan it! XD

A Twisted Fairytale

Once upon a time in a land that you can't find, there lived a young man with fair golden hair and his loyal steed, a beautiful brown mare. Now don't be mistaken, he wasn't a prince, or a noble or even a knight. He was merely a farmers boy. But he was a beautiful young lad, with his fair skin and deep blue eyes that made the local women swoon in his way.
Of course the poor thing was oblivious to it all. He just thought the women who swooned were weak to the sun and therefore very frail and in great need of care. Which is why he had never cared for a woman, despite meeting a good lot of them.
His last experience was quite confusing. It happened with the eldest daughter of the blacksmith in the town closest to the farm.
She was a petite young girl who had turned into a very red shade when he greeted her, and he wondered was she ill? Perhaps she had a summer fever? He'd tried asking but she stuttered and could barely speak. He wondered just how he was going to handle the situation. But to his relief, the blacksmith came and spoke to him, relieving him the trouble of handling his strange daughter.
He got even more confused when the exact same thing happened when he happened to meet the blacksmith's four other daughters. He wondered maybe they had a contagious disease? But then, it didn't seem to affect him and most of the women he's met acted in much the same way.
Still, it was a troublesome thing... his mother had never treated him with such strangeness nor did his sisters. Speaking of which, he still had to complete his errand. His father had sent him to town to get a few things from the market, although it was never easy. The vendors were often women and it always took several minutes longer then it should have taken for him to buy some spices.

Meanwhile, somewhat a ways away from the little town, beyond an enchanted lake, in a forbidding castle with tall high turrets and black and silver banners, there lived a young princess, dark haired and small eyed with the loveliest set of lips one could ever look at.
But she also had, what was possibly, the gloomiest attitude in the entire kingdom.
Her brilliant eyes were a lovely shade of gold, but when she lurked around at night they seemed more like frightful burning glints of fire.
Which was really quite unfortunate as the servants tended to avoid her at all costs, no princes' or ladies in waiting wanted to be near her or make conversation. This made her a very lonely child.
Of course it only worsened her gloom, constantly sighing and staring into thin air during studies. Because of this, the King and Queen of Verna had decided to lift up her spirits. They invited jesters, singers and all types of talents from the far away lands.
Nothing worked. She was still as gloomy as ever.
The princess was very kind and the animals seemed to sense that. During her nightly roaming, she wondered around her private garden. During the day, it was a vision of loveliness and beauty, but during the night when the fae come out to play, it had a mystical and magical atmosphere. It was a rare night since high above in the starlit sky, a blue moon shone.
Now to every person who worked with magic, it was a well known fact that the blue moon increased the magical essence of a place. This means that a place with a bit of magic came alive on a blue moon.
