sounds fun to use other items but i think that would defeat the purpose of getting the winter items during the event to use.
although....a suggestion? this would be lurker friendly too. just going off the idea Balrog suggested that every time you attack the queen that there's a chance it would drop an 'item'. i suggest the item be a snowflake or red snowflake or warming potion :D

I also wanted to say the idea of adding more weapon options is pretty awesome.
It seems like whatever code is attached to the staff and drumsticks could be put on other items as well as a permanent thing to be used when there's an event like this.
Also to make it more fair and have less of a problem with "rich" vs "poor", there could always be a limit on the amount of damage you can do in one hit (5-10). Gold shop items could also be included as available attack items to make it more fair for those that can't get DI's/CI's for whatever reason.
